How much can I customize the Interview Plan?

Interview Plans can be customized per job.  You can make changes like:

  • Editing titles of stages and interviews
  • Reordering stages and interviews
  • Adding/removing entire stages or interviews
  • Editing Interview Kits

To get to the Interview Plan for a job, navigate to the specific job, click the Job Setup tab, and then click Interview Plan.

Might be helpful to users (including myself!) to have links in these Q&As so we're sent directly to the page to perform such actions (like customizing the Interview Plan).

    Thank you! :)

    Hi Kinsey,

Pasting direct links gets tricky, because the URLs are often specific to your organization's system when it gets down to the job-specific level. I wouldn't be able to provide a direct link for this FAQ, for example. However, I do think this particular article could be clearer in its instructions, so I'll make some tweaks.

As much as we can, we'll start to incorporate direct links in these FAQs.

    Thank you!

Completely understand, and thanks for the quick response! I'll reach out to my account rep to get assistance changing the Interview Kit in the interim. Thanks again!

I think it would be really helpful if we had more control over how the invites looked from greenhouse. For us, our coordinators do a lot of things like have to input the interviewer name, specify interview type etc. For options to use fields in the actual invite would help make the interviewer kit feature more effective.

    Hi Kristen,

    Thanks for your feedback! Are you referring to the ability to further customize the invitations that go to interviewers when scheduling interviews? Users with Site Admin permissions can create and customize any number of "Interviewer Invite" type email templates where you can use the following placeholder tokens: {{CANDIDATE_NAME}}, {{CANDIDATE_PHONE}}, {{CANDIDATE_EMAIL_ADDRESS}}, {{INTERVIEW_NAME}}, {{INTERVIEW_KIT_LINK}}, {{JOB_NAME}}, {{OFFICE}}, and {{TODAY_DATE}}

    I hope that helps!

    Best,
    Jean

Hmm, it looks like the actual tokens didn't quite come through correctly in the comment section, so you might want to check them out for yourself via: https://app.greenhouse.io/account/email_templates
