What is the EEOC Status report? How do I use it?

At the bottom of every job post is a button marked Should EEOC questions be included in the application form. When toggled on, applicants will see an optional questionnaire that ask federally-approved questions about Race, Gender, Veteran status, and Disability status.

If you choose to turn this survey on for your jobs, you can view the anonymized report that shows how many applicants and hired candidates fall into each of these categories.

How can this report be filtered?

The answers to these questions will never be tied directly back to individual candidates, but the report can be filtered by Department and Office (located right next to your company name), as well as Job, Date Applied, Job Stage, and Rejection Reason.

Note: Only Site Admins with the Can see EEOC reports box checked are able to see this report. If you can't view it, contact a Site Admin with advanced permissions so they can update your permissions.

How are individuals who do not answer the questions (gender, race, veteran) represented in this report and the data export? Are they excluded?

    Hi Neil,

Thanks for reaching out, great question! Since completion of the EEOC form is voluntary, only candidates who choose to complete the form will be included in the report. I hope this helps and let us know if you have any further questions!

Hi - we have this feature turned on, but in the application, the only 2 questions in the first section are gender and "Are you Hispanic/Latino?" It does not ask about other races.
Why is this so? Thank you.

    Hi Caitlin,

Thanks for writing in! The language used here is specific to the government form. On the first section of the EEOC form, for the question "Are you Hispanic/Latino", candidates will have three options: Yes, No, or Decline to Self Identify. If candidates select the option "No", another question will appear "Please identify your race" where candidates will be able to select from a second dropdown list of options. If candidate select the "Yes" or "Decline to Self Identify" options, no additional question will appear.

Let us know if you have any additional questions on this!

    Thanks,
    Jodi
